Super Duplex 2507 Fasteners belong to the super duplex grade of steels. They have the qualities of ferritic and austenitic steel grades. Inconel Fasteners
Inconel is a family superalloys whose basic chemical composition consists of nickel and chromium. Inconel grade alloys have an austenite microstructure. On account of a high content of chromium in the Inconel alloy, there is a passivate oxide layer formed on the surface of these fittings.
This passivate oxide layer protects the Inconel Nuts And Bolts from oxidative corrosion, otherwise known as rusting. Since Inconel alloy has good resistance to oxidation corrosion, the fasteners manufactured from this alloy are well suited for applications where the equipment’s are subjected to extreme heat and pressure environments.
At elevated temperatures, Inconel maintains its high tensile strength, thereby proving to be attractive for applications at elevated temperatures where metals like steel and aluminium would succumb to creep. The high tensile strength of the Inconel Nuts And Bolts is attributed to precipitation hardening or solid solution strengthening processes. When trace amounts of niobium is added to in combination with nickel to the Inconel Exhaust Bolts, there is a formation of an intermetallic compound known as gamma double prime.

Titanium Fasteners
